And for the third time, a team of physicians, nurses and clinical technicians volunteered to serve impoverished areas in Honduras by providing access to medical care. Many of you have heard that nursing is more than a career, it’s a calling. Well, a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) nurse at HCA-affiliate Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas brings a whole new meaning to the phrase.
